Saturday Morning Zazenkai - May 11, 2024

Join us on Saturday, May 11 for Zazenkai.

This day of concentrated practice begins at 5:30 am and ends at 12:30 pm, and includes periods of zazen and kinhin, guided meditation, and an oryoki-style breakfast. A way to experience a short, intensive meditation retreat, Zazenkai can be a gateway into deeper practice.

Zazenkai presents the opportunity for extended meditation, oryoki (formal eating) practice, work practice and ritual service, all in a slightly smaller slice than Sesshin. We present you a gateway into deeper practice.

Registration & Payment is due May 8, 2024. The cost is $55 for non-members, $45 for NZC members, pay what you can.

Refund Policy: Due to the advanced planning and preparation required to host the Zazenkai, registration fees are no longer refundable after the registration deadline has passed. If you cancel before the registration deadline, the registration fee is refundable, less any administrative fees (i.e. PayPal fees).

Meditation and Sesshin Experience

Do you have a regular mediation practice? It's not necessary to have any prior meditation experience.
