Returning to Silence: Zen Practice in Daily Life

This fall, NZC’s Dharma Book Club returns to its roots by studying Dainin Katagiri’s Returning to Silence. Katagiri Roshi, a Soto Zen priest from Japan founded Nebraska Zen Center in 1975. His dharma heir Nonin Chowaney was our abbot for twenty-five years. Returning to Silnce is a compilation of dharma talks Katagiri gave as head of Minnesota Zen Meditation Center, which he founded in 1972. 

Join us as we explore our dharma lineage together. This book is available for free at terebess.hu. You may participate in the Tuesday evening discussion group in person or via Zoom.
